Welcomes you to Barrington
Population: 7,084 Barrington is located along the same stretch of US Route 30 (also called "White
Horse Pike") just past Haddon Heights.
Similar to Audubon, Barrington is also considered a neighborhood to explore for a good value, perhaps even a bargain. The same renewed interest in older small-town suburbs that has happened elsewhere
is here, albeit at a slower pace. Barrington offers older homes with quality craftmanship similar to
those found in towns that have been rediscovered sooner or revitalized
faster. It deserves notice for the amount of home you can still get for your dollar, and it is a town that is gaining appeal.
Barrington features a quaint main street with an active business community. Barrington public schools serve students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Students attend Avon Elementary until the fifth grade, and Woodland School for grades 6 through 8. Considered an advantage by many, Barrington's high-school age residents attend the well-respected Haddon Heights High School.
Barrington offers many of the same commuting conveniences as Haddon Heights, especially its enviable access to I-295. It is also short ride to several PATCO lots for commuting to Philadelphia.
