Population: 9,182 Audubon is located along the same stretch of US Route 30 (also called "White Horse Pike") as Oaklyn, Haddon Township and Haddon Heights. Because of this, the home offerings are similar, with older historic homes typically closer to the Pike and Kings Highway, and established developments of older, charming bungalows on tree-lined blocks, many of which include additions and improvements to their original floor plans. An ample selection of smaller, single family homes makes Audubon a great place to look for a first-time buy.
Somewhat of a sleeper, Audubon markets itself less than surrounding towns, but is appreciated by its loyal residents as a good value. This small town is gaining word-of-mouth recognition as a pocket of quality-built homes in a safe, friendly neighborhood that can offer you more home for less money. In town or nearby, multiple areas of commerce fill office, health, service, and retail needs with successful, useful businesses.
Public schools provide kindergarten through twelfth grade and do
include a Pre-K program (contact school for more information). Audubon
High School encompasses grades 7-12.
Audubon offers many of the same commuting conveniences as its more expensive zip codes. It is a short ride to several PATCO lots. In addition to the White Horse Pike, Kings Highway runs through Audubon, offering a convenient path through many towns, including Haddonfield's town center, Cherry Hill's business district, and into Moorestown.
